Our bonsai pots are made of 100% purple clay which is a natural resource only founded in Yixing, China. Purple clay is specially used for making bonsai pots, production started as early as Ming dynasty(1368-1644), and reached a new high standard in the early and mid of the Qing dynasty(1644-1912).Purple clay is further divided into purple, brown red, black, yellow, cinnabar. We always pay great attention to the clay selecting process, kiln firing, and handcrafting of each pot to ensure each one is unique and to ensure 100% customer satisfaction.
